Like to travel? Contact a local rehabber and offer your services to transport injured and orphaned wildlife!

Wildlife rehabilitators are usually busy caring for the injured and orphaned wildlife and don't have time to be driving to pick up new animals. The sooner an animal can get the proper help that it needs, the better chance it has to make a full recovery and return to the wild.

Locate a rehabber within a distance that you do not mind driving on occasion and give them a call and offer your services. In a case where a rehabber gets a call about an animal in your area, if the finder can not transport the animal, the rehabber will give you a call and see if you are available to go and pick up the animal and bring it to the rehabber. Depending on the animal and the rehabber, they will usually give you crates, containers, heating devices or whatever needed to pick up the animals that are usually taken into rehab. (ie...Gloves, SnuggleSafe™, Tote with drilled holes, blankets, etc)
